Alumite and anodize treatments are one in the same. “Alumite treatment” is the common Japanese phrase.
This is a decorative treatment that gives vivid color to aluminum parts while also providing excellent corrosion resistance.
(Available in gold, yellow, red, blue, green, purple, peach, black)

Hard anodizing treatment has excellent sliding wear resistance and can dramatically improve surface hardness.
(For pistons, pulleys, brake center cones, brake caliper supports, etc.)

Teflon is contained in the surface layer of hard anodized treatment, this further lowers friction, and can exhibit stable hardness even at high temperatures and ultra-low temperatures.
